（一）用途：

hw型混流泵为卧式、单级、单吸、悬臂蜗壳式混流泵，适用于农田排灌、工业、城镇给排水及船坞、码头引水等。

3、自吸离心泵

自吸泵是靠泵自身的特殊结构而产生自吸作用的单级单吸离心泵，称为自吸离心泵。和普通离心泵相比，在泵体结构上有---差别：一是泵进口位置提高，机械密封混流泵价格，有时还装上吸入阀；二是在出水侧设置了一个气水分离室。

泵外自吸泵，是在泵外加有自吸装置，如带有旋涡泵、水环真空泵、射流泵以及手动泵等。

自吸泵与普通离心泵相比，具有结构紧凑、使用操作简单，不但省去了起动前灌大量引水的麻烦，机械密封混流泵，也省去了进水管低阀，减少了进水阻力，增加泵的出水量，但与同规格的普通离心泵的效率相比要低3%～5%。自吸泵较多的是应用在轻小型喷灌机组和管道灌机组上。
